With the introduction of Legacy Reed Diffusers, consumers can now mix and match decorative reeds, lovely vessels, and exquisite fragrances to create a customized reed diffuser for their own personal taste. With three different vessels, twelve essential oil-based fragrances, and four decorative reeds, there are over 150 different options.
There are three recycled glass vessels from which to choose. Each builds on the Root history. There is the “Medina” named for the town where the Root Company was established five generations ago, the “1869” named for the founding year of the Root Candle company, and the “Apiary” reflective of the company’s humble beginnings serving the beekeeping industry.
Legacy by Root fragrances are concentrated with natural essential oil and virtually no alcohol so they last up to three months or more. Fragrances are also made to flow smoothly and consistently through the Root reeds so that the reeds do not have to be turned. The twelve essential oil fragrances include Amaryllis and Orange, Anjou Pear, Cinnamon, Cranberry, Crisp Linen, Currant, Ginger Patchouli, Hosta, Japanese Cedarwood, Patchouli Pure, Sampaquita, and Tangerine Lemongrass.
The reeds available include Natural, Black, Hibiscus and Curlicue.
A complete kit including natural reeds, recycled glass vessel, and essential oil fragrance can be purchased for approximately $30. Fragrance refills can be purchased for $15. Specialty reeds can be purchased for $10 or less.
