Medina, OH (June 5, 2009) -- Root Candles announced today the launch of Legacy by Root, a full line of home fragrance products designed to enhance and complement any home décor. The cornerstone of the line, luxurious fragranced candles feature Root’s exclusive all-natural beeswax blend. Legacy by Root pays tribute to the legacy created by founder Amos Ives Root, the father of modern beekeeping.

Legacy by Root candles use an all-natural blend of beeswax and other premium natural waxes. They contain no petroleum or paraffin and are designed to burn up to one-third longer than other candles. Each wick is specially woven pure cotton and uniquely designed for each candle container, color, fragrance and size. Every Legacy by Root candle is specially created to self-extinguish at the end of its burn life to provide safety and peace of mind.
The Legacy by Root line includes a stunning fourteen new fragrances, twenty modifications to the best-selling fragrances from the previous line, and in total, more than 40 fragrances from which to choose. Each Legacy by Root fragrance is made with natural, essential oil. Legacy fragranced candles are available in traditional Queen Bee jars in 8, 14 and 22 oz. sizes. Contemporary MetroLights are available in 5 and 16 oz. sizes and the elegant Veriglass in 7 and 12 oz. sizes.

Additional Legacy by Root Items to Be Launched in July
